Norton is by no means a RINO.

Really? Why does Norton support Murkowski?

In an interview with the Colorado Statesman posted Wednesday, Norton said she would choose Murkowski as her Senate mentor. “She has an incredible depth of understanding of the importance of the energy issues… She’s been, I think, a terrific spokesperson for her state.”

I’m not going to waste my time playing the “endorsement game” or pointing out how many bona fide conservatives (i) are often supported by moderates or (ii) often support moderates. What matters is how a Senator will vote, and Jane Norton has given every indication, through her words and deeds throughout her public life, and by the clearly conservative issue positions she has taken in the Senate race, that she is a conservative. If you prefer Ken Buck, so be it, but don’t defame Jane Norton by calling her something that she isn’t.
