The Persians did the same thing on the Temple Mount. Muslim Caliph Umar, shortly after his occupation of the city, cleansed the Temple Mount and built a mosque for muslim worship. Soon after Mohammed died, the muslim conquerers built the Dome of Rock to overshadow the Christian Church of the Holy Sepulchre. This is Islam’s modus operandi and nothing is new with the goings on at our World Trade Center site today. Wake up America. Let’s support the Israelis’ rebuilding of Solomon’s Temple on the Mount in its original grandeur.
