I only ‘discovered’ Sabaton about a month ago. I love how most of their music is about history and historical battles. They write songs about all the powers involved in WWII...even the Nazis. Even though I am NOT a fan of the Nazis, I am quite taken with the song ‘Ghost Division’ about the German panzer elite corp that led the way of the blitzkreig of Poland. Ijust frakin rocks.

I heard about Sabaton here, and I’m glad I did. Their criterion seems to be valor — on one CD, Ghost Division about the Wehrmacht, 40:1 about the Poles fighting the Wehrmacht, a song about the Red Army crushing the Wehrmacht, and one about the Finns fighting the Red Army.

Little correction here, 7th Panzer Division was given under the command of Rommel after Blitzkrieg in Poland. It was named "Ghost Division" (Gespensterdivision) because it rolled through France in no time and because no Frenchmen new where it would hit next.

Just the two cents of the history freak :)
