I don’t think it really matters. Stupid, misguided people graduate college every day. I doubt his grades were terrible IF he was in Harvard Law Review. I don’t think he’s dumb. I just think he’s socialist.

ODH, you are a lawyer. I’m sure you’ve met plenty of losers that have graduated law school.

"I’m sure you’ve met plenty of losers that have graduated law school."

True that.

But, I do think it matters if for no other reason than the principle of transparency. No, the Founding Fathers didn't demand that "transcripts" be released when running for President. But, they didn't demand that tax return and copious financial statements be released either, as is now required by law.

Lastly, there is a LONG record in the modern era of the media demanding that presidential aspirants release their government records, like the military record. Obama was the least vetted candidate to hold that office in the modern age, and the media should be shamed for allowing it.

He didn't get on the Law Review because of his grades, he got on it because of AFFIRMATIVE ACTION.

I agree with you. What matters is what he’s doing—and damaging—now.

I worked for a lot of lawyers. We (the underlings) had a joke - “how hard can law school be”? There were some real idiots who apparently made it through law school and passed the bar, though I can’t imagine how.

Try and find something he wrote that was actually in the Harvaard Law Review. It’s the height of affirmative action: President of a prestigious law review and never write anything in it, even an intro, while occupying that office. Kind of a precursor, you might say.
