Something is up. Got a new video tonight where it demonstrates that the leak from the 3 Ram Cap seal is so bad now, that it is interfering with Panel Operations. If they increase the internal pressure of the stack, the leaks will get worse obviously, that could make panel operations just about impossible. They would need to operate the panels in case they have to abort the Top Kill and go to collection. The new choke looks like the old choke with some additional improvements. They may want the ability to do some partial bleeds out the new choke assembly. Or perhaps they realized the old choke could not handle the internal pressures during the Top Kill. Will get that video uploaded tonight which shows how the leak interfers with panel ops.

Here is the video when they installed the new choke assembly. That is quite the choke. Expand video description for additional details.

Installing the Second New Choke Assembly (3 1/2 minutes)

These videos show leaking that is affecting a panel on the 3 Ram Stack. Appears to be leaks coming up from perhaps the leaking seal or a new hydraulics leak. Note the chunks of crude starting to cover up the panel itself.

3 Ram Stack Seal Leak so bad it is now affecting Panel Operations Short Version (1 1/2 minutes)

3 Ram Stack Seal Leak so bad it is now affecting Panel Operations Long Version (3 minutes)

Hey,,,TANKS a bunch for the updates,,,

I sure hope they can cap it quick,,,

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100802/ap_on_re_us/tropical_weather_1

They only have a week or so,,,

I'll stick to drilling around the blowout to suck down

the whole field,,,

This is what makes me/us wonder why BP won't just DO IT!!!

My cuz that is ret. from Texas Eastern has run the numbers.

He still says BP can cover their losses by putting that

oil and gas on the market,,,

From what I was told another line to Port Fourchon could

have already been laid and four wells could be in

production or close,,,

He was Chief Estimator for TE before he became Exe-VP,,,

He was their “go to guy” on these projects,,,

“Politics” is the reason this has not been done...(his words)...
