The tax codes have become so ridiculously complex that people will simply just not do it.
Let the IRS take the time to sort it out. They will be so overwhelmed that they either hire several hundred thousand more workers, train them and audit every American, or just ignore it themselves.

Let the IRS take the time to sort it out.
I think that was in the health care bill also. A simple statement was inserted that IRS gets to determine what a proper business deduction is. Won’t be determined by congress or tax court anymore and you won’t know what the rules are until the audit.

They have that covered too. In 2012 all tax preparers will be registered with IRS. There is a big difference between being certified by your professional association and registered by IRS. In essence this makes the tax preparer an employee of IRS only you pay the wages...................
