Vatican euro coins are put into circulation [ The Vatican is a nation ]

For the first time since the Vatican adopted the euro currency in 2002, the Vatican has begun to put some of its coins into public circulation.

The likelihood that Rome visitors will find coins depicting Pope Benedict is still slim since storekeepers only within the walls of Vatican City are distributing them.

For years, most Vatican euro coins were sold as sets to collectors for 30 euros ($38) each, although some Vatican employees had an opportunity to buy rolls of the coins at face value. The annual release of the Vatican coins was marked by long lines of collectors waiting to buy them and by disappointed customers who found the stocks exhausted in just a few days.

Nauru is 21 sq. Km. Vatican is .44 sq. Km.

So, Nauru is 42 times bigger in land area, than the Vatican.

I believe that the Vatican has been recognized as a sovereign power since the eighth century, if not earlier.

I don't think they have a problem, they are not like the socialistic nations, they don't give away free lunchs. But if you want to buy anything like a meal at the vatican, you got to give them plenty of your bread, more then the bread that they give you back in return.

Does the Vatican have an open border policy that allows anyone to immigrate to Vatican City with or without a visa? Does the Vatican encourage, in the name of social justice, immigrants without the proper credentials to jump to the head of the line in front of other people who have waited patiently to gain legal entrance to the Vatican City?

What is the Vatican’s immigration policy?

You need to be popular with the Cardinals to get in.

Can you trade Vatican currency for other currency like the US dollars or the Euro or is their currency like buying tokens at a cirus, they must be used within the Vatican grounds, like 100 tokens to see the sistine chapel, and 10 tokens for a vatican value meal, like you would get down at McDonalds.
