The FLORIDA PRIMARY is 24 AUGUST 2010, that is over 3 weeks from now ! Why is the FL-GOP acting as if RUBIO is the ONLY Candidate in the race... that is WRONG FOLKS.. and yet another reason to NOT send a penny to the GOP this election cycle...

You were correct yesterday. His website is a hot mess. TMI about being a citizen of four countries, three marriages, etc. I agree that he is probably a smart guy, but Aug. 1 is probably not the time to start. Trust me, I’m no Rubio fan. He’s a little punk rat.

Do you think this guy who no one has ever heard of has a chance of beating the liberal, Charlie Crist?

I’d say no, particularly when you consider that he’ll have only a little more than 2 months to tip the balance. Rubio is only a few points behind in the Quinnipac poll, which tends to be skewed to the left. I think he can pull it out.

And just about anyone would be a better choice than Crist.

You're not alone. The GOP is doing the same thing in Wisconsin. After endorsing Ron Johnson, who joined the US Senate race in early May, the state party has given Dave Westlake the cold shoulder and sought to harass Westlake supporters in other counties. Dave has been campaigning for more than a year, while Johnson joined the race about three weeks before the State convention and got the sudden endorsement.

I am sending donations to individual candidates and PACs and never again to the state or national party unless they change their tune.

All we're asking is that people educate themselves on the many candidates before the primaries so that they can make an informed decision at the ballot box. The Political Machine is not amused.

Here's a comparison between the candidates that has the Wisconsin GOP establishment up in arms.
