I see a Citizen/Patriot vs. Career Politician.. a young one at that... send Dr. Escoffery to the U.S. Senate in 2010 and let Marco Rubio take on Bill Nelson in 2012... Marco can’t beat Crist in November, Dr. Escoffery can.. IMHO

If he wins the Primary I likely will...but many Floridians will not... VOTE FOR Dr. Escoffery IN THE PRIMARY and then again in November..

as stated, he is a vote splitter for useful idiot purists.

your own observation proves him as much.

Honestly, how can someone who nobody has ever heard of with no ground support, who wont even win his primary, possibly beat a sitting governor for US Senate?

All you have offered is hope and assumptions (like he will get ground swell because he is going against Crist-where is the evidence to support that?)

Actually, as implied in my comment is my referencing Rubio paying his dues per his work in this Campaign. He has 'paid' for advertisng; he has been 'walking the walking' for months; he has acheived name/face recognition. Most critically, he has nailed down issues that are critical to our Country. Truth is; as earlier mentioned; have never heard of your candidate; and imagine, more than a few others are not aware of him either.

Am not saying he is not qualified - and do not doubt his Conservative credentials; my question is; where has be been? Where is his campaign? What has he been doing - lo these many months of what has been for most candidates - 'campaign mode'? You cannot be this 'new'; this far into a campaign and expect to win it - without the front work; IMHO.

Again; Rubio has worked hard for recognition per the issues. (Is he perfect? Not in a heartbeat; but he is a great candidate with values that can help us all survive the Obama's 'muk and mire' - that we are all stuck in. . .if not drowning in. . He will name the 'elephant in the room'; when it comes ro our Military and America's security. .

And perhaps your candidate IS better. . . maybe so/could be. Just think it a bit late in the game for 'great expectations' by November, 2010.

And it could be; your candidate has done all the above 'ground work' and I just missed it.

Citizen Patriot?

Oh, please stop

Small town ego-driven nut job. Properties in foreclosure. Never really succeeded at anything at life.

When you check his resume you will see that he is a a physician in addition to an ambulance-chasing sue-everybody lawyer!

Citizen Patriot?

Actually, a recent citizen with no experience in doing anything very successfully.

If you "See" him as you say, as a Citizen Patriot, I might suggest calling his office and check if he is an opthamologist in addition to everything else!

I am sure you can call him and ask any questions you like. All I ask folks to do is simply compare Marco Rubio and Dr Escoffery side by side and decide who has the stronger conservative values. There is no doubt in my mind that Dr Escoffery will likely vote the same way I would on any issue that comes before the Senate based on our shared core conservative values. I have my doubts about Rubio on Immigration and 10th ammendment issues. For these reasons and many others I will vote for Dr Escoffery on 24 Aug

Explain to me how competing against Marco Rubio in the Republican Primary could possibly be considered splitting votes with Crist who is on the ballot as an independent? Marco Rubio is a moderate conservative and a young one at that who would be very vulnerable to the Washington Machine if elected to the US Senate. Not to mention the fact that he as completely ignored his challengers and acts as if he has already won thr primary. Which I find despicable. I know Dr Escoffery has not been an efective campaigner up to this point. I plan to help him get his message out because knowing what I know now about Marco Rubio and Dr. Escoffery I believe Dr Escoffery is the right choice for 2010. Marco Rubio should take the next 2 years to get some real life expererience and come back in 2012 to run against Bill Nelson. IMHO

What is it about Dr. Escoffery that makes REPUBLICANS so confident he would not make a FANTASTIC U.S. Senator?

When you interview someone for a job do you care more about how effective they will be ON THE JOB, or how good they were at the interview?

I am not dismissing the fact that campaigns are important, but in the end we need to decide who will be BEST ON THE JOB for the next 6 years...

Far too often we elect folks who are GREAT CAMPAIGNERS but when they get to Washington we are surprised when they don't VOTE the way we thought they were going to based on their "GREAT CAMPAIGN"..

electing a person who has LIVED the American dream with a LIFETIME of conservative principles in the REAL WORLD is a much better choice than a RINO POLITICIAN who can run a "GREAT CAMPAIGN" --- Furthermore, A campaign strategy that includes ignoring your opponent because you can WIN without having to engage in a debate ... does not deserve MY VOTE.. and I am asking the Republican voters to seriously think about that on 24 August 2010 and vote for Dr. William Escoffery III
