I did not read the Harper’s article, but firearm users and those that conceal carry, are some of the most responsible, thoughtful people I know.....far more than the average liberal who is nothing more than a grasseater (term used to describe prey).

I’m not inclined to shell out $17 bucks to catch the Harper’s story but I will see if I can’t find it at the library.
I would be curious who would view the guy as a “cop-out” because he changed his habits. Maybe if he became anti-gun (but that never seems to happen, does it?!).

I have been involved in two actual (not military shootings) and three times when I had to draw to stop the situation. all were within three miles of where I lived.
Still some days I carry and some days I don't.

...I don’t think those who choose otherwise are Commies or anything.They only become Commies when they try to restrict the rights of others. That means most liberal/progressive/socialist/Marxist types.
