Supposedly made by the “Cheney Ironworks.”
LOL! But Of Course!
Governor of Michigan is a Democrat.
I never heard of this oil leak before now.
Nah... there’s no coincidence here.
In the dying days of the Grandmole regime, the media has turned this spill into her legacy cause.
I have seen Jenny speak more this week on the spill then in eight years about her failed economy.
Well the good news is that they’ve created a lot of jobs for people cleaning oil out of the river.
I’m sure Moleface will want to create some jobs dismantling the pipeline. We lost the main gasoline line down the center of the state 5 or 6 years back.
I heard a news report on the radio that said “Ten million barrels spilled in Michigan”.
“...the Canadian company which owns the pipeline ... confirmed the break’s discovery...”

Odd...the image of a natural gas pipeline vent that is posted at the link
has absolutely nothing to do with the story.
Perhaps true or does it ring like those things has been said about the BP Oil Spill and the tens of gazillions of gallons that have spewed forth.....which they struggle to find today...?
There’s lots of interest in hyping the story so we can eliminate the line altogether. It ain’t good but its not some vast tragedy. The local news here is saying it should be cleaned up in a couple of weeks.
There is a lesson for the idiots who want to remove all the dams. Those dams have helped contain the spill.
I want to know why they’re washing canada geese? The oil comes off with the feathers then you rinse them in the sink.
They had to dig the line up to find the rupture.
I wonder if they will attack the old cities' infrastructures the way they attack oil spills? Soon cities are gonna start falling apart from age and there ain't darn thing we can do about it.
850,000 gallons and they just found the leak? No wonder that Rat bit place is in trouble.
Unfortunately this is going to lead to one more pipeline shut down for good.
The wolverine pipeline was undergoing extensive upgrades (Spending lots of money) when that was shut down in 03.
The problem with this oil spill is that the river that it’s flowing into (the Kalamazoo River) flows into Lake Michigan, a body of water that provides drinking water for probably 12-15 million people on all it’s shores. Now that’s a problem.
Thank God for the dams.
I grew up near the north branch of the Kalamazoo river and there are at least 5 dams between where it starts near Hanover and Homer. Those are just the ones I know of.
