That 81% figure includes McCain’s first decade or so in the Senate, when he was a pretty regular conservative. In recent years his figures have been usually in the 60’s% to 70’s%. Likely his numbers in the current Congress are closer to his original numbers.
When it really counts Mcain flushes the Constitution down the toilet and stands with the enemy. Every time!
To be clear about him standing with the enemy? If I vote a 1000 times as a 100% conservative and then pass a bill called Mcain/Feingold? It really doesn’t matter what I voted for before because I just handed my (supposed)enemy the tools to erase everything I supposedly believe in.
