Nope. NFA, GCA68, Nixon closing gas stations on weekends and setting the speed limit to 55, and a long series of rigged elections, did not stir the ire of Americans.

As long as there is gas for the cars and enough channels of TV we are unlikely to revolt.

Agreed. Americans are docile creatures. It’s quite a different breed from the 1776 troublemaking crowd. 0 is showing how easy it is to have his way with us.
