This is so very sad. Didn’t Obama discuss recognizing the Taliban as a legitimate government in Afghanistan? I believe the UN has unofficially appointed someone within the ranks to have ‘talks’ with. These people don’t negotiate.

Karzai and the Paks already have an understanding with the taliban. As soon as we bug out and get out of the way a deal will be cut.
