Sometimes s#*t happens.
The postman carries dog treats and mom-dog was always happy to see him, take a treat and a pat on the head. When the postman saw TWO dogs, he gave them both treats, gave Val a pat on the head, and pulled back his arm in terror from my dog. Treat or no, no arms allowed within the fence-line!
The problem with many pit bull owners is that, in response to the sometimes irrational fear and hatred of their preferred breed of dog; they often form their own irrational opinion of the likelihood and potential from harm from their dog; i.e. they dismiss the possibility.
I know that my breed of dog is more likely to be aggressive, and MUCH more dangerous when engaged in aggression; than most other breeds of dog. As such I take precautions that someone who has deluded themselves minimizing the danger would not.
I suppose I’ve whined at you enough for one night. :-)
I like daschunds.
Ha ha, that is a good one. I forgot all about the history. Thanks for my laugh of the day !
Actually, considering how rare it is compared to pit bulls, yeah, it is more newsworthy.
I’m not interested in opinions. I deal in facts.
I am! ;-)>
