Charlie Crist: The depths of political lame-assery

Really. I don’t know what else to call it. But in just seven brief, fleeting seconds, Charlie Crist manages to show us what the rock bottom of political lame-assery looks like: Smug mixed with deer-in-the-headlights fear mixed with vulgar, instinctive political calculation, topped with a sickly orange glow.

Just watch. With an empty stomach, of course:

While Rubio is not great, he is certainly a few steps above this chump.

Crist is disgusting. Rubio is an open-borders RINO. Meek is going to lose in the primary to Green.

The only good thing in FL is Rick Scott supports AZ law and he may become Gov. He is up by 10 over McCollum. McCollum, like Rubio, said he was against the AZ law and his campaign imploded.

Rubio blocked AZ type laws in the FL House. Thanks Marcos Martinez.

So then, we have no choice in the FL Senate Race? They’re all losers? Is that what you’re saying?

I really don’t think Greene will beat Meek in the Dem Primary. The Black vote will be enough to pull out a victory for Meek.

It is very difficult to have any respect for this guy. I used to live in Florida and he lost many local elections. He would lose one election and the next day sign up for a primary for another. I don't think he as ever had a job outside of public service. Just another politician looking for his next gig.

Rick Scott’s ads have me convinced he’s a lib jackass trying to persuade people he’s “conservative.”

Whoever’s doing his ad campaign and McCollum’s deserves to be shot. Both of them should be ashamed of themselves.

Question for Mr. Word Maven: Is it lame-assery, or is it lame-assitude?

Charlie Crist is still the beloved one by the RNC/GOP DC crowd. The good folks of Florida stood up,,,dumped the old party chair and sent the scumbags Steele and Cornyn back to DC.

Conservatives are in no mood for RINOs or whiners. Ill be back in Florida to vote, Bet on it!

Don’t know where you are from or whom you are working for, obviously Scott, but you do not understand Florida politics and what it takes to win ALL of Florida. McCollum is moving the obamacare challenge along on very effective Constitutional grounds. You will find that the AZ law was placed to embarrass the Federal government into doing it’s duty. The judge that put the injunction on it only put it on certain provisions. McCollum and others are clear that the States merely have to enforce their own laws, like Sheriff Joe Arpaio is doing, and giving over the criminal illegals to ICE. Rubio is no RINO. He’s of Cuban heritage, the Spanish Cubans. And he is a conservative, and he is no Mel Martinez. A newer generation than Mel.

If it is any help, his daddy was a cardiologist in Pinellas, name of Christoforos or Christopolos, Greek. Name change to Crist. Personality from the get go an opportunist, and had a hard time with law school. You’ve characterized him elsewise rather well. He would be a disaster for FL as a senator, really for he country he would be. His actions, and lack of honor speak volumes.

Bingo. Right on target. McCollum should out poll Scott by miles, but he is leaning on his Washington congressional roots. He needs to show leadership. Scott is a fake, period and a real embarrassment.

Another choice between a Scott Brown and something even worse.

No, I think Rubio is better than a Brown. Brown is more like Charlie Loafers - no conservative mooring to speak of.

Rubio is a newer generation of open-borders version of Mel Martinez.

Dr Crist was also on the Pinellas County School Board, where he helped to screw up the whole district in the ‘70s.

Me too. Rubio it is.

We just have to push him on the illegal issue. But on every other issue he is ten times from conservative than Crist. Crist is a dirtbag, political opportunist. At least some politicians try to hide their opportunistic tendencies. Crist lays it out there for everyone to see.

I have no use for him.
