The Peter Schiff for Senate campaign released a new ad, titled “Kick”, which reveals the strong liberal ties of Linda McMahon, Schiff’s Republican primary opponent in the Connecticut US Senate race.

McMahon, a former wrestling promoter, has defended the Wall Street bailout, which a majority of Americans oppose, and made donations to Democrats including Rahm Emanuel, former Congressman and now chief of staff to President Obama.

Hopefully, Schiff can win the primary and general election. Schiff is probably the only person running for US Senate in Connecticut that knows how to save the US Treasury from its insanity. Responsible, limited Government is the answer and Schiff seems to be the only one in the race who stands for that.
It’s possible. I’m not in Connecticut so I don’t really have any idea about what’s going on there.
Based on reading a few articles, it seems that the media is happy with McMahon and would like her to win, so they’re doing all they can to ignore Schiff.
I also get the impression that Schiff isn’t entirely interested in spending a bunch of his own money on this race. He has spent his own money, and he does have a decent amount of it, but not anywhere near as much as McMahon does.
Back, what, 6 months ago, a year ago, 2 years ago, whenever, no one was asking McMahon to run, but she did, and she’s spending a lot of her own money.
People asked Schiff to run, and Schiff did. And now, today, Schiff is asking for the money he needs right now to run TV ads. And I’d guess that if Schiff gets the money he needs he’d have a better chance to win than if he doesn’t.
