The case will be dropped, the Colonel will be involuntarily separated, and the DOD will refuse to answer any questions regarding it. Not that there would BE any questions from the lick-spittle Obama lovers in the MSM.

Can't happen. Involuntary separation of an officer requires a Court Martial. If their is such a court martial, he has the right under the UCMJ to defend himself. The Army would be hard pressed to deny access to the documentation, even if they believe it to be irrelevant, although it is possible.
If they drop the case, then he can't be involuntarily separated. He can of course be denied promotion, and would then likely retire when he reaches the 20 year mark in his career.
