Apparently there are some people on this thread who think he has any loyalty to the United States.
If Russia wanted, they could declare all US citizens to be Russian citizens...and we would ALL be dual citizens, and then no one could be President. Of course, what the Founders were concerned with was foreign loyalties, and Obama has ZERO loyalty to the UK.
You are correct to ephasize the past tense. At birth, the Queen of England claimed him as a subject, even though he never did anything to benefit from his subjecthood, and then did nothing to retain in when he became an adult.
Why should we, who fought a war to free ourselves from the Tyrrany of English kings, condition our presidential eligibility based on the arbitrary claims of English kings?
