In another sign that House Dem leaders are eager to silence talk about them losing the House, top Democrats are circulating a memo on Capitol Hill that lays out a detailed case for why Republicans will come up short this fall.
The argument in the DCCC memo, which was sent over by a source and opens a window on Dem thinking about the political landscape in a difficult year, is two-fold.The key points: First, Republicans simply can't put enough seats in play to win the House. Second, the Tea Party has become a massive liability nationally in multiple unappreciated ways.
Here's the memo's argument about the number of seats in play:

We have to have the House because we need to do the investigations. This is the only place where we can truly go on offense. We can expose corruption and push zero to the brink and with his narcissistic personality, he could very well crack under the pressure. We can curb administration abuses and even de-fund programs.
As far as actually turning anything back, no chance until 2012.
I think the Democrats are underestimating the voter anger.
Are they ever! Come on November!
this guy is delusional.
Funding ACORN and stacking the vote as we speak. :)
LOL, well now THAT's total BS! In fact the latest RCP poll average, shows OSTUPID at a negative 3 which his the lowest he has ever been.

In fact the only poll which has him above water is a 2 week old TIME MAG poll (49 approve-46 disapprove which was taken by calling "National Adults"
So, where exactly are you pulling your numbers from?
Aint over till the fat lady sings.
Well, we don’t bow. . .that’s should mean something.
This is great. Dems, just keep believing this. The fact that dems are down 10% in the generic ballot shouldn’t mean anything. There aren’t any generic democrats running and most of the beltway types have never met a Republican.
Now that we’ve agreed on what democrats should believe, let’s agree on what Republicans should believe. There should not be a single dem seat that is considered safe. There should not be one district written off. The goal is not a 30 or 40 seat gain. If you must set a number, let it be 100. Increase contributions to Republican candidates and Sarahpac after the primaries conclude. Those candidates need to combat the union and media lies and it costs money.
And don’t forget the Senate. It can be won too.
I like 100...frankly, about 350 should be sent back to the private sector. No bennies, either...
Actually, winning back the House would cause gridlock and halt any further expansion of Obama's Marxist agenda. That is certainly something worth voting for.
eh...Not exactly an inspiring 'battle cry' I must admit - but it works with me.
Carly Fiorna vs. Boxer? -- Fiorna hands down.
Satan's Minions vs. Bumbling Cowards? -- I'll go with the Bumbling Cowards and hope they stumble into some good policies now and then.
Satan's Minions will take then Nation to Hell... The Bumbling Cowards might get some Grace...
As far as we are out, you have satellite TV or nothing, and while I don’t watch, beyond a couple of Pats games and NASCAR races, she does.
I’d lay off the TV idea, were I you, since, like this, it’s just another information source. No more, no less.
Just because you say it does not make it true!
Ok what alternatives is the GOP offering?
Are they pushing to repeal 0bamacare? No.
Are they pushing for shamnesty? Yes.
Has the GOP ever once cut welfare spending? No.
Has the GOP ever balanced a budget or even attempted to reduce the deficit? No.
I'll vote GOP, but I am not fooling myself in believing that they will be any different than the Democrats.
Summary of Demo memo: “We will retain control of the House because....we will not lose enough seats to lose control.” Oh, now I see.
“Ok what alternatives is the GOP offering?”
They are too many to write here but think taxes, regulations, freedoms...who the heck do you think has been fighting the democrats destruction of America? You?
“Are they pushing to repeal 0bamacare? No.”
That is an issue they will be going after, they have said that they will repeal it if they can...it is up to us to elect enough Republicans to help them do it.
“Are they pushing for shamnesty? Yes.”
Most are not, so what if a few are...you going to paint the Republican party by a small minority of Republicans?
“Has the GOP ever once cut welfare spending? No.”
Actually, the GOP ended the welfare society as we knew in in the 1990’s...or do you think that was the democrats?
“Has the GOP ever balanced a budget or even attempted to reduce the deficit? No.”
Again, in the 1990’s it was the Republicans who did indeed balance the budget...
“I’ll vote GOP, but I am not fooling myself in believing that they will be any different than the Democrats.”
That is ludicrous, the democrats hate America, hate freedom, I do not understand how anyone can say what you said there with a clear conscience. Who has been defending our rights thus far? It is the Republicans...the Republican party is us...it got a little lost for a while, but we simply need to become involved in the party to make it in our liking...
intentional propaganda faux leak.
That said, the GOP has been full bore stupid by endorsing RINOs.
I am particularly irked by the GOP support Crist is recieving.
Bagdag Bob speaks:
“Nothing to see here folks...move along, move along.”
Yeah sure - TV another information soruce that helped get a muslim elected to control the country 7 years after 9-11. Sure. Keep thinking that.
