The bomber was sentenced to life — then released on “compassionate” grounds, because he was thought to be dying.

If it had been up to me, I would have prevented the murderous scum from cheating his sentence, via an early death. He'd be hooked up to life-support and kept artificially “alive”, until he'd served a reasonable number of years. Say, one per death he caused. Oh, and his feeding tube would contain pureed pork.

It’s even worse than that, actually. The medical reports claiming that he had 3 months to live were fraudulently manipulated (the report of world-renowned oncologist who examined al-Megrahi was effectively thrown out):
