After Obama declared in a July 27, 2010 interview with ABC's Elizabeth Leamy, “We’re not that far removed from what most Americans are going through," we find out that Michelle Obama has booked a very expensive vacation to Spain accompanied by "long-time family friends". The liberal media that did decide to cover it calls it a "private" vacation, but since when have the Obama's used their own money?
The trip will not include Obama and Malia. And strangely, the trip will coincide with Obama's birthday because he will be visiting his CEO office at the auto plants he owns in Michigan and taking a trip to Chicago to attend Trinity Church with William Ayers.
I have a few questions.

I doubt the government employees were paying the “rack rate” for their rooms. They were more likely paying the “government rate”.
When I was a federal employee, a very lowly law clerk, back in the 1980s, I got to stay at the Ritz Carlton on a work trip because they charged government employees the “government rate”, which was set just low enough to fit into the per diem limits. (The hotel was newly remodeled and was trying to get business back. They only offered that special rate for a few months.) Of course, I couldn’t afford a meal there. There’s no government discount for the food.

Add in food and transportation, plus other amenities and you’ve got yourself a nice fat bill for the peons back home.
30 rooms at $3000 bucks a night.

I wonder how many days to multiply that by? Not to mention all the SS, attendants, cars, food, shopping trips and all.
There goes our summer of recovery.
Maybe the Obama’s know they were only a place-holder for Hillary Clinton and so they are living it up while they can. Obama is ramming through all the framework that Hillary would have had a hard time getting done. Once Obama lays the foundation for Marxism, Hillary will finish the job.
I just hope that all those who voted for Obama will eventually learn that voting for trash gets you trash. As for the Obamas feeling the pain that a lot of Americans are feeling, they sure are living la vida loca with other people’s money.
