Probably the same nuts who have been stealing cigarettes from there several times in the last week. Only idiot criminals return to the scene of the crime.

I am noticing in TV news reports of these things the attitudes of the reporters is getting much better. A couple of years ago it was uniformly grim and disapproving of the vigilante stuff. Now they smile when they talk about the bad guy getting nailed.

Thanks for pointing out something positive that KY3 news reporters are doing.

Your statement brings to mind the story of a purse snatching followed by the vigilante chasing down the perps. It was reported that the vigilante was a concealed carry permit holder, but that fact was passed over lightly by KY3 news.

Their video interview of the victim of the purse sealing was a classic. The woman was happy she got her purse back. She then proceded to give a great 2nd Amendment speech. The reporters let her have her say, they did not try to interrupt or ask questions as she spoke. The NRA should be using it as a commercial.

I agree with you, nothing grim about the reporting of that story. In fact I laughed as the story unfolded and said "Go Granny Go ! "

The reporters mentioning the CCW is getting to be matter-of-fact now rather than menacing. I wonder if the journaleft realizes that they are losing in the popular perception of RKBA. I know that a number of leftists are getting CCWs and that changes attitudes. That subject is the only point of sanity in the worldview of my UF prof old bud. He was rabid about guns until about 1987 his house was broken into while his wife was alone at home. He says nothing about the subject now but I know his wife goes to the range a couple times a month for some reason and he smiles when he sees news reports like the one that started this thread.
