He did. However, until the Right is honest about Regan's role in massively increasing illegal immigration and creating the policies that have killed so many American jobs in favor of overseas workers, then I have no respect for any whining so-called real conservatives do on the issue.
It's ironic because GWB was more of a friend to the Left than they will ever admit. Rarely did GWB wield his Veto pen to block the Democrat/Progressive agenda, which we are suffering now.
Had he shown the courage of Reagan on more occasions, defended his conservative principles and stood up to the critics that made him a laughingstock to the majority of the country thereby causing too many Republican Congressional seats to be lost, leaving us defenseless against these Leftist fascists in power, I'd be a lot less critical of him.
And what about GWB telling America that he had to "abandon free market principles in order to save it". Nikita Khrushchev probably had a chuckle at that one from hell.
And another thing, Islam is not a religion of peace by any stretch of the imagination as Bush asserted too often. It is by far the most violent religion on Earth and it threatens the free world. Until conservatives admit that that statement is pure idiotic foolishness, this country is destined to fall.
