At 85, Phyllis Schlafly has still got game.
The anti-feminist founder of the conservative Eagle Forum -- who counts Barry Goldwater's 1964 White House run and the 1982 death of the Equal Rights Amendment as exquisite victories and the "internationalist" presidencies of George Bush 41 and 43 as "not helpful to the Republican party" -- hasn't mellowed one whit.
That she made abundantly clear Thursday afternoon at the Conservative Political Action Committee conference in Washington.
Lord knows she still looks great, the poufy blonde hair perfectly lacquered, the fitted tweed jacket tricked out with her signature golden eagle brooch and tiny anti-abortion baby feet, her neck encircled by three stands of pearls and a chain from which dangled a cross of gold.

I checked out the "Falcon Party" website. You're the Duncan Hunter guy!
I remember you from 2008. Still beating that drum, huh?
Ever think about converting to Islam? With your view of women, you'd fit right in.
Watch it pissant, I think 1rudeboy wants to roger you.
:-)
I SO cannot wait to check in on this thread tomorrow morning....
“Per your post, Palin gives great speeches, has good political insight in being able to pick the winners of elections, but you say that those arent leadership traits?
Giving poor speeches and having poor political insight is better for political leadership?
What you said doesnt make sense.
Let’s look at it from another direction.
In 2008, Barack Hussein Obama gave great speeches and had good insight into picking the winners in political races.
Did that make him a good leader? “
***************************************
Obama became president, so it counts for something. What he lacked was any work experience, let alone executive experience. Palin has it all.
Thanks for making the case for palin so clear. Maybe you are a closet Palinista, but your wife monitors your computer use?
Yes, Obama is leading in the wrong direction, but he is a more effective leader because he gives adequate speeches than if he gave poor speeches. I won’t characterize his speechifying as “good” since I’ve never been moved or even struck by his words, but I’m not his audience.
And I think you are making up that Obama showed any special skill in picking the winners of political races. I had never heard that or noticed it, while it’s commented on a lot with Palin.
Also I believe it was actually in keeping with the tenor of her oath of office. It was to the good of Alaska’s constitution that she removed herself from being a conduit of Alaska’s own resources being sucked dry. Forget the effect on her and her family, it was for the sake of Alaska she sacrificed.
Not to be a butt, but did you forget that Barak, not Deborah, was listed in the "hall of faith" in Hebrews 11?
Maybe God and pissant are both sexist pigs?
Your wife thinks we’re cigarettes? Get that prescription checked!
You've completely lost touch with reality.
How many interviews have you had with the man now? Hmmmm, I don't think he'd grant anymore if he knew you don't want women to vote.
How moronic...
Actually Pissant seems to have eaten himself......
I don’t know what that means, but if I have to hang-out around men, I prefer those who like women.
But God sneaked in Rahab the prostitute, to make up for it.
Reality or "creative fiction".
So now feminists are those that think women should vote?
You are the sort of idiot that makes FR look bad.
