LONDON – It has no headquarters and its public face — a wiry, silver-haired Australian with a physics Ph.D. — carries his desktop computer in a backpack as he moves from place to place.

WikiLeaks is a bare-bones organization on a mission to root out the secrets of the high and mighty, from Sarah Palin to the Church of Scientology. Its founder, Julian Assange, said his group's biggest coup so far — the publication of tens of thousands of classified U.S. military reports on Afghanistan — will likely unleash a new wave of leaks.

"It is our experience that courage is contagious," Assange said Monday, telling reporters at London's Frontline Club that his greatest fear was "that we won't be able to do justice to the material that we're getting in."

US lawmaker Ike Skelton also slammed Wikileaks for "recklessness" in making public the roughly 92,000 military files and field reports, billed as perhaps the largest leak in US military history. Sudden termination with prejudice should not be out of the question.

Find who is leaking the information. Try them for treason. Is Obama going to deal with this before his next vacation?

IMHO, doesn’t this fall under Obamassiah’s “Smoke a terrorist when you find one” rule he recently OK’d???...or is that rule only for “domestic conservative terrorists”??

Obama wouldn’t be interested for at least two reasons-one, he has no love for America or our troops and two, he won’t want anyone turning the tables and digging into his records (or lack thereof)

The last time I checked the publication os TS information is a felony and at the very least Julian Assange and anyone associated with his publication should have a sealed indictment so that if he ever shown up in the US he can be prosecuted.

Can anyone tell me the difference between TS information or child porn? Both are illegal to possess, distribute or publish only one seems to never be prosecuted. Just because one did not produce the child porn does not mean you can’t be arrested for possession or distribution. I just don’t understand why we assign such little priority to our national security.

I'm thinking it should be the only answer.

Murder of a foreign citizen for political activity abroad?
This sort of thing has such a glorious history...

But seriously, what you are talking about is basically an act of war and wars have started for that sort of thing.

Or what would be your reaction if ...say Hugo Chavez went off a deep end, arranged for assasination of some US citizen for frustrating the progress of bolivarian socialism?
