This is as bad as the $20M for the stimulus signs. TV 3 in Memphis is raising $$ for AC units for the elderly or frail. IF we have to spend tax $ I’d rather see it put to GOOD use, not wasted. LONG lines at the utility assistance program, most of them minority, lot of them FAT, most of them out of work. We have a 10%+ unemployment factor in Memphis, TN which is RAT controled.

All this and "No Press Allowed"... Can you even imagine the screeching outcry if Bush had taken such a vacation (or Laura) and said "No press allowed"???? It would be the lead story on ABC,NBC,CBS,CNN,MSNBC, etc.

I hope the Spanish press cover this and I cannot *wait* to see the fashion statements that Michelle will make while in Spain!!
