Mundane (think “mundo,” world, rather than ordinary) astrology is quite a different thing from what is published in the newspaper every day.
It’s how the Magi knew to look for the lion of Judah, king of the Jews, born of a virgin, in the opinion of many.
Well cross my palm with silver! You're right! He's a fortune teller. That's like a pickpocket who gets you to pick your own while he stares at the stars.
There certainly must be something to Crawford’s methods — on his website, it says he was ranked #1 by Hulbert Digest for Oct 1, 2007 to Oct 31, 2009 — and Hulbert tracks hundreds of newsletters.
The thing about stocks picked by monkeys beating the average mutual fund is true. Even when you invest in the (seemingly) best companies, sh!t happens. BP is a textbook example of that.
He says it starts on July 26, real bad possibilities between July 30 and Aug3, but bad things still imminent for the next two years — Obama must really planning to screw things up for us... NKorea nuke, Iran nuke?
“We continue to recommend extreme caution and proper emergency measures such as extra food, water, medicines and cash over the next 24 months in particular. Do NOT wait any longer!!”
It is harder to find someone that predicts otherwise isn't it?
Not really. Investment advisors stake out positions all over the map—and they’re usually wrong. In Nov 2007, how many predicted the DOW would drop to ~6500? In March 2009, how many predicted the DOW would rebound to over 10000 within 8 months?
As for myself, I mostly stick to low PE stocks that pay high dividends. Its not always surefire, but its done okay for me over the years. If nothing else, even when the stocks are down, I still get a good income stream.
Magic works??? Say, I've got a needle and can probably find a scissors and maybe a lighter. Now where is that stupid doll with the big ears...
I’d also like to know what the members of the Senate are doing with their money.
>> My impeccably scientific attitude: We should just look at its results. <<
Looking at results without understanding them is the antithesis of science.
Long , long ago, a people could not perform their rituals because of persistent blizzards all winter long. The chalaitan chief priests told them the River God would be angry. The snow melted, and the river backed up, and the people’s lands were flooded, and Peter Brimelow’s ancestors slaughtered their children to appease the angry river god, because of their “impeccably scientific attitude.”
I’m not Jewish either which if I were maybe I wouldn’t have gotten confused and been one week off of the actual date of the 9th of Av this year :)
Nine out 10 astrologers have been right about something somewhere 10% of the time.
Hah! I think you’re right. No doubt even the 8-ball is more accurate than government reports!
Anybody see this actual “beginning July 26, 2010” date in either of the two articles? I’ve looked through them twice.
The results of my search made me wonder if anyone was certain. :-)
I know I got confused to...but then as a Senior Citizen I get a get out of jail card free on confusion :)
