Had it been a prisoner transfer, then Libya would have released him. The international hubbub that would have ensued would have made it impossible for the BP/Libya deal to go through.
BUT, by letting the Scots hide behind compassion, (and now ignorance of the bomber's TRUE condition) the WH achieved what it (and BP) wanted....the payment TO BP for its contributions to Zer0.

And speaking of leaked documents, since it may cost more American lives, I feel certain that Obama was behind that leaking of documents that have showed up on WikiLeak re: the Afghanistan war. I'm betting that Zero cackles like a little girl in private...about all the things he has done, is doing and is planning on doing to America. We can't even really call him a traitor because his allegiance lies elsewhere in the first place. We have a bona fide enemy in the White House. And he's just gettin started (his own words).
