This is the difficult thing about tea parties.

With no authenticated leadership, you can’t control the message or the meetings.

BullCr*p.....we HAD no “leadership” at the inception of the Tea Parties and they have turned into a strong, patriotic, MASSIVE group that has power to frighten progressives!!!!

THIS pathetic group may have lost it’s spine, but the Tea Party has NOT.

WE are the “leaders” of the Tea Party. The “message” has reverberated all over the country and it’s quite clear and HAS been since February, 2009.

True but that's the way it ought to be. While the NAACP was attempting to build their lie 10 days ago, there was a synchronized attempt on left-wing radio (mostly Sirius Left) to link Armey's (who I can't stand) FreedomWorks to outright control of the Tea Party. It didn't stick -- in fact it barely rose above the sub rosa -- precisely because Tea Party power is decentralized.

Now I see the LA Times is focused on smearing the Tea Party Express today -- again, it's not the Tea Party, because the Tea Party is a set of ideas. And as far as I'm concerned The Tea Party is was and always will be entirely Santelli's baby -- he's the Godfather of this Movement and hasn't disappointed me yet.
