The OH-13 takes in the western part of Akron and western Summitt County, some of Cleveland’s southern suburbs (but not the city itself) and Democrat parts of Lorain County (including the cities of Elyria and Lorain). It is quite Democrat-leaning—President Bush got between 42%-44% in 2000 and 2004—but the GOP has a first-tier candidate (a very wealthy auto dealer named Tom Ganley) and the district should be very competitive this November.

I sure hope Tom Ganley wins this. I have relatives in Summit County and I know they would like a change! Thanks for the update!
