“Suppose California voters approve Prop 19, which would make it part of the CA Constitution.

Do you think CA should have authority under the Tenth Amendment to enact the policy without interference from fedgov? Or, do you think fedgov should have authority under the Commerce Clause to shut it down? “

I support states’ rights, but not piecemeal.

I wouldn’t want CA to have to right to define its own drug laws when other states can’t define their own laws against abortion, etc.

It has to be all (at least all in one category) or nothing.

Otherwise it is just agenda pushing. The state gets to define it if it’s something you like; it doesn’t get to define it if it’s something you don’t like. Ain’t no way to run a country.

So I take it you are against the various state challenges to Obamacare, since they are piecemeal and don't address other Tenth Amendment issues?
