Even if he were telling the truth...I think the population itself grows at a rate of about 1%. There are about 310 million Americans total. So there are about 3 million new Americans per year. If we round everything down to them being in office for a year and a half, there should be about 4.5 million new Americans in that time.
I'd assume the population growth in births/immigration/etc could be applied to people entering the workforce. So wouldn't that mean there are at least 1.5 million more people WITHOUT jobs than there were when he took office? Even IF (and that's a big IF) he were telling the truth?
Can somebody tell me if my logic is wrong?
