Our state deficit this year is $1.2B. Considering the statement in the article that: "illegal immigrants cost Arizona taxpayers $2.5 billion annually." we should have a budget surplus plus a new sign to put up:
Now Hiring Americans

I can think of one person in AZ that needs to be unemployed - McCain.
I think if it wasn’t for AZ, Jan Brewer and the GOP pols who fought for this law - Obama would have pushed amnesty. AZ may have saved the USA.

Statement: "Fleeing Phoenix for fear of immigration law"
Response: As they run are the illegals eyes wide with terror? Are screams of fear and horror filling the night? Is there a trail of dirty diapers and partially digested food leading BACK to Nogales, Sonora?
If so Good!

“They can “tout” all they want, but isn’t it a virtual copy of Missouri law and Virginia law?”
And federal law and California law and the new Mexican law...

The author perhaps thought this piece would put the law in a negative light. Little did he know, when people read this, their reaction is more likely to be, “Wow... it works! Let us have such law in our state!”

I heard that 9 states have had nearly identicals laws for years don’t know which ones but when moving they may want to check the law! They are afterall illeglas in all states.

Which hopefully the State of Arizona can use in it’s defense of the Bill.

Food City is part of the Basha’s chain. Basha’s closed 4 stores in Chandler and other parts of the valley including the “upscale” AJ’s. It’s the economy.

Hey illegals! Make a left at I10 and go a few hundred miles. Los Angeles will welcome you with open arms
Seriously, Arizona could run a fleet of buses to Los Angeles daily at no charge to one way riders. The buses would carry no passengers back. I think they should do it just to enrage Los Angeles, if nothing else.

What’s he complaining about? He’s selling tote bags.
Pure propaganda masquerading as journalism. If people are here legally, they have no reason to leave. If they are here illegally, they are SUPPOSED to leave. To the extent that those here illegally are fleeing the state, the law is doing what it is meant to do.

"As soon as the criminal class figures that out then it's open season on illegals. I would think that should speed up the exodus more than anything else."You're probably right. While I hate to think of the poor illegal scumbag aliens being exploited, I'm sure as hell tired of the American taxpayer being exploited by them. So the sooner they get back to their own country, the better off we'll all be.
