Rangle was drafted and served with honor in Korea, Purple Heart and a Bronze Star, maybe he thinks it would be good for everyone. Actually, I would support it if there were no exemptions.

The military has repeatedly resisted a draft. They have enough things to worry about right now without having to also heard a bunch of people around who don’t want to be there no matter how good it would be for them. If we ever get to the point where massive amounts of troops are needed again (which I doubt) then the military might change its mind. Until then, I’d take the advice of the current commanders.

I'm with you on that. NO exemptions. None. Not for college, not for disability, NADA!

As for those thinking this will reinstitute slavery, or enslave all of us, I doubt it. Not while I'm still breathing. I still remember my oath of enlistment, and I'm not aware of anything that will release me from it.
