I don’t think he will sink much below 40%. Figue his minority support remains rock solid under all circumstances. That gets him to about 27%. Then add in the kool-aide drinkers among the government employees, the rabid lefties left over from the “Summer of Love” and the current skulls full of mush in school.

That gets us to about 40%.

Now, it isn’t as gloomy as it sounds. Many of the Congressional district occupied by the above demographic will be urban districts that conservatives (GOP or DNC) have no hope of winning. But outside those districts.... There will be some real chances to pick up a lot of seats in the House.

Now the GOP just needs a plan of what they intend to do and then they need to get some people who can lead. Both of the items are in short supply in the GOP right now.

Not coincidentally, that same 40% you enumerated receive the largesse of our taxes and don’t pay any themselves. They are the parasites, living off us, the producers. Why would that class ever turn against the hand that feeds, clothes and houses it?
