How low can President Obama's approval rating go? Pretty low, it appears.
The president's approval rating reached a new all-time low, according to a national Quinnipiac survey released today.
The survey finds that just 44 percent of registered voters approve of the job he has done as president -- his worst score ever -- with 48 percent disapproving.
“It was a year ago, during the summer of 2009, that America’s love affair with President Barack Obama began to wane. In July of 2009, the president had a 57 to 33 percent approval rating," said Peter Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute.
Obama has made some very unpopular decisions over the past year, including passage of the healthcare reform package that many polls found most Americans did not favor, policies that have not revived a bad economy and a delayed response to the oil spill that has ravaged the Gulf of Mexico in recent months.

I thought that number was still shockingly high. I strongly disapprove of Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot, Obama, Ahmadinejad, Saddam Hussein, Castro, and all tyrants (most of them claiming to be just socialists, as if that's different from tyranny in the real world) who seek power at the expense of people. I'm amazed every time an otherwise coherent person speaks positively about such a dictator.
Certainly shows a mounting dislike and disappointment for the socialist, empty-suit's performance to date, tho.
When it gets down to around 28% to 31%, we'll be at stasis....that level where the "born againers, true believers" live. This is where the "belief system" removes conscience thought....these folks will never change their collective minds regardless of what the god does or does not do. There is no logical arguement possible with these folks; principaly because when they come up against unassailable facts, they counter with, ". . . well, I believe....!" And it is at this point where the arguement must cease because thought has ceased.
One would spend their time better to argue with flowers! At least the flowers smell better!
And yes, there are a group of these same kind of individuals on the right....tho I'm pretty sure a much smaller group!
I think it’s 20% lower, people in these polls don’t really give there gut feeling; so as to seem unbiased or not cool supporting the first hybrid President. Only about 25% of the whack jobs support this clown!
44% is not rock bottom, unless the pollsters know something we don’t...
