Professor of American Social Thought and History, U. Penn. :
Tainting the tea party movement with the charge of racism is proving to be an effective strategy for Democrats. There is no evidence that tea party adherents are any more racist than other Republicans, and indeed many other Americans. But getting them to spend their time purging their ranks and having candidates distance themselves should help Democrats win in November. Having ones opponent rebut charges of racism is far better than discussing joblessness.
This was a pretty profound moment in race baiting though. The NAACP threw out the usual and customary false accusation of racism and thanks to BREITBART, it exploded in their faces like a defective IED. Thank you again BREITBART! There had better be solid evidence that a LOT of Tea Party members are racist before the NAACP tries something like that again. They fired, the missed and the round landed amongst themselves, and Sherrod was a big casualty.
That looks like Nelson Mandela after a few estrogen treatments.
Who the hell is this woman?
Black, white, Catholic, Protestant, Republican, Democrat, male, female, rich, poor, et al. are smoke and mirrors to deflect Americans from from coming to terms with the concept that Progressivism equals treason against the Republic. Political correctness is the putrescent stench that wafts from the body politic infected with Marxist ideology. These labels and accusations are simply intended to make you break stride, to question your motives, and to direct your attention to that which is ultimately meaningless. Your focus must remain on making them ashamed of the Progressive label.
Yup-The idea is to put us back on our heels defending against charges of non-existent racism so they can keep taking over the country. Nice try, folks.
I remember how she treated the Thernstroms on that panel...

In a body politic wracked with racist cancers, Mary Frances Berry is one of the very most evil and malignant of them.
