While I admire the efforts of the TEA Partys (been there; done that), the DC elite just don't listen anymore. They have learned they have the ultimate power to force their socialist ideals because No One is going to do anything other than march and protest and demonstrate, which they see every day in DC. Phone calls, letters, demonstrations, e-mails no longer have any influence over these marxists. Wake up and own it.
State nullification is the only way back. State legislation against Fedgov intrusion under the 9th and 10th Amendments to the US Constitution are our "standing" in lawsuits and hardcore nullification.
We need a number of States to sue the Fedgov for their obscene interpretation of the "commerce clause". The time has come for that, alone.
You want to support another RINO like Brown as in Mcpain or Reid, and hope for the best? Or would you rather support the above Amendments that give your States the right to their own destiny?
National elections have become a farce. Okay, so the Repubs get a majority in the House this fall? So what then? Do you really believe they will have the cojones to eliminate funding that could hurt their re-election chances? If so, you're dreaming. Can you say "go along to get alone"? They are all pussies who won't fight for the original concepts of Republicanism. They are part of the same DC elite problem and happy to be included in whatever party/functions.

While numerous States are filing lawsuits and passing legislation to exempt them from this health-care takeover, other States are considering and passing general State sovereignty laws.
What are you going to do? Support another self-serving politician like Brown and hope for the best? Or, you can lobby your State legislature and Governor to uphold their oaths and fight the Fedgov leviathan.
STATES' RIGHTS under the 9th and 10 Amendments are the smart move. Play the rigged federal political election machine or stand for something that is clearly based in the Bill of Rights. There is little to no ambiguity in most Amendments. Even those that are debatable, with enough proponents/lawyers to show "original intent", there are countless documents of the Founding Fathers that can't be denied.
Forget all this nonsense about political parties and flip-floping candidates. I suggest we concentrate on "original intent" of the Constitution. Let's discuss in the Media the debates of the Continental Congress and how they came to ratify the US Constitution and later its Amendments. Let's discuss how and when the abuse began of the World's most beneficial societal compact.
If patriot politicians want talking points...let them build campaigns and media around their oaths to the above virtues. We need to remind people why this Nation became THE most prosperous and promising society in history, and why SO many other Nations followed our lead. And why we are losing that leadership. We need a bigger picture to remind people why they are still relatively free.
