I agree with you, RQSR. I’ve no idea what her reasons are but am very suspicious of her being a conservative.

For several years (decades, actually) she has not only been a conservative, but the leading conservative in opposition to quotas against whites and men. This is as obvious a defection as any I have seen since Gary Wills went left. Whether she has folded under pressure from fellow academics or for other reasons, this is quite distressing. It is almost like Rush Limbaugh endorsing Obama.
