They aren’t on the east coast, or at least here in North Carolina.
You hear reports of sightings, but I have yet to see any proof. Of course, some people SWEAR they’ve seen them up in the Great Smoky Mountains.

Maybe they will cut down the coyote population before sensible people cut them down.

No, that wouldn't be an Obama supporter if he was referring to reintroducing Grizzlies into the urban zone from Seattle to Tacoma.
You'd have what's known as the vanishing species of Americanus Conservativus for that particular ecological zone.
What I wonder is how many Democrats could a well motivated bear kill and eat in a day? 10, 20 perhaps? Maybe more?
Anyone have an idea on this.

They go nuts when a coyote snatches somebody's shitzu.
Imagine how nuts they'll go when a timber wolf snatches somebody's 8-year old.

I was just going to point that out. Lots of missing livestock and the deer herd is dwindling, thanks to the solf.

That is their plan.
Remove all the working ranchers and sheep herders off public lands.

Not just public lands but private land also. They do not want anyone to own anything.

He can’t get people to watch CNN so he has to do something.

Wolves might eat all the illegals coming across the border. That would be a shame. ;-)

This is the fallacy of the bunny-huggers. They have to “restore the natural balance” of things. Like they know what that is. Nature is not static, so “balance” is a relative, subjective description of conditions. What their real agenda is: Animals Good, People Bad (except for them, they're different). If a few farmers, hunters, land owners, etc. are put out, well, tough poopies.

Absolutely. I’ve lived on 12 acres in an Ag district of our small city. Right now, I know that coyotes and foxes are scarce. How do I know? Because there are rabbits and racoons everywhere.
I years when coyotes are abundant, the rabbit & coon population drops to nothing. Nobody is hunting those animals. Their population just fluctuates in cycles. When I catch sight of a mangy fox, or coyote, I know that they are dying off for some reason and the rabbit population will soar.
To: george76
Idiocy.
Any wolves released around here will be used as target practice. I’m not letting ANY creature continue to exist that poses a threat to my family and dogs.
Besides, a nice wolf skin throw for the bed, could turn the heat down and save some money...
