The best way to reduce racism would be to remove the “race identification” block on all applications. If you don’t know the race of an applicant, it makes it much harder to discriminate....IMHO

The best way to reduce racism would be to remove the race identification block on all applications. An even better way would involve hiding the applicants' name and sex from the admissions decider as well, as it is possible in many cases to discern a person's race and sex from this information. Have these decisions made strictly based on academic criteria without knowing at all what the names, races and sexes are of the applicants.
