Harvard will lose its “prestige” in a few years.
Clearly it will have to “adjust” its grading system to accomodate those who got in with lower test scores.
Perhaps they will do away with grades altogether, or, since it is such a “progressive thinking” institution, they will take a few points from those who do well and give them to the partiers and less studious.

I wish that were true. The problem is that Harvard has a large amount of class valedictorians entering its freshman class every year from the top private and public schools in the country. Yes, Harvard does admit some minority students with lesser credentials who are regulated to African American studies and other p.c. type non-rigorous majors. But the core major studies are populated with the cream of the crop and the cream keeps beating down the doors to get in.

Harvard didn't change its standards they just added a couple of wings to place the people who don't belong there.
