First - I have NOT mentioned unemployment benefits - I refered consitantly to EXTENDED benefits which are unfunded.

Secondly - please show me the specific power that congress was given to FORCE me to pay for insurance I do not want.

Ok fine, I was answering a question about where the government gets the ‘right’ to do this stuff. The answer I gave was completely correct. They get it from the constitution which derives from the social contract theory.

Two, if you think it’s illegal take it up in court. You’ll be laughed out, but that’s the only way to fight it.

The specific power is in Article 1 section 8:

The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;

To borrow money on the credit of the United States;
