Last week, the Justice Department made an astonishing statement about its unprecedented lawsuit to stop the Arizona illegal-immigration law. Attorney General Eric Holder's spokeswoman, Tracy Schmaler, claimed that it was appropriate to go after Arizona, but inappropriate to stop "sanctuary cities."
Schmaler said: "There is a big difference between a state or locality saying they are not going to use their resources to enforce a federal law, as so-called sanctuary cities have done, and a state passing its own immigration policy that actively interferes with federal law. . . That's what Arizona has done in this case."
There's a big difference, all right. Sanctuary cities are expressly forbidden by federal law, while Arizona's statute is in perfect compliance with federal law.
Evidently, just as Holder didn't read the 10-page Arizona law before he criticized it on national TV, his staff couldn't be bothered to read the relevant federal immigration laws before issuing the statement.

DOJ- social justice agenda — corrupt
... The Department of Justice's newly designed website. Gone are the standard red, white, and blue motifs, replaced by an all-black backdrop. And prominently placed on virtually every page of the site is a quote credited to a man who facilitated a greater role for socialists and communists at the U.N., and the global "workers rights movement."
The redesigned website was launched without fanfare, but was noticed internally by several career lawyers, who spoke on condition of anonymity for fear of political reprisals. "We were told that the media team and the senior leadership that signed off on the design thought that the patriotic shtick from the Ashcroft days was a bit much for an agency that isn't supposed to be political," says a DOJ lawyer, who inquired about the redesign.
Prominent now on the site are links to "Justice.gov en Español" and the "The Recovery Act and the Department of Justice.
We really do live in the Twilight Zone.
Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, Texas.....all sanctuary cities.
Question: Where in Sam hell is Gov. Good Hair Perry on this?
Perry=RINO.
Sorry, we missed our opportunity for a real conservative in the state house during the primaries.
State Workers Who Outed Illegal Immigrants Face Criminal Charges
Utah has long protected illegal immigrants and provided them with endless public benefits, including discounted tuition at public colleges and universities as well as other perks not afforded under federal law. Two of the states largest citiesSalt Lake City and Provohave official sanctuary policies that forbid public employees or law enforcement officers from inquiring about a residents immigration status.
Earlier this year Utah proudly became the nations first state to offer a special class of drivers licenses for illegal aliens who wont be ineligible to obtain the cards when new federal security standards kick in.
Arizonia should make it known that, since Obama doesn’t want Arizonia enforceing federal laws, it won’t:
Murder of Federal officer, judge, whatever? No help.
Post office on fire? No help.
Bank robbery? On your own, good luck.
