When Climategate broke, the only thing that the MSM found worthy of reporting was the theory that someone hacked the University of East Anglia servers to steal the emails. So it was just a sad little story about an evil hacker trying to harm the wonderful climate scientists. The inflammatory content of the emails was ignored altogether.
I bet the MSM will now pull something similar. Probably no reporting until next Saturday, then "Republican Operative Tucker Carlson's Email Theft Threatens Freedom of the Press."
I bet you're right on the money with that one.
As AB sez, the MFM love whistleblowers, until someone blows the whistle on them or their fellow travelers.
The same was true when emails between the NAACP and Ted Kennedy turned up from a government server that was unencrypted (just a network share folder) showing a coordinated effort to deny some Bush judicial appointments to affect the possible outcome of several pending legal decisions.
"Who did this" was the key question, not "what's Red Ted up to now...".
