Presidents ally: Expectations were set too high after Obama's 2008 election

President Obama is suffering from expectations set too high by the historic presidential election of 2008, one of his closest allies in the Senate said Thursday.
In an interview with The Hill, Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) blamed unrealistic expectations for Obamas dismal poll numbers, which have Democrats worried about a defeat at the polls in Novembers midterm elections.
The bar for change was set inordinately high by the tone of the presidential campaign, said McCaskill, an early supporter of Obamas who endorsed him over then-Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) in January 2008.
Obamas long-running primary battle with Clinton captivated Democrats across the country, who rallied to Obamas message of change. Turnout for the general election was the highest among eligible voters since 1968.
McCaskill said that Obama would have had a tough time pleasing the public no matter the economic situation, but that a collapse in the economy magnified Obamas problems by sending unemployment to new highs and damaging the nations fiscal health.
In the everyday world when one lies in a job interview and gets the position and then their performance proves they are not qualified they get dismissed/fired. The only thing Obozo has proved that he knows how to do is lie, travel, golf and party at our expense. I expect Obozo will not be president next time and I hope that’s not expecting too much.
Expectation too high? It is Bush’s fault
Yeah, we mistakenly expected someone who would actually WORK FOR US, or work at all for that matter.
He far exceeded my expectations. I expected disaster and got catastrophe.
McCaskill handed Romney the earpiece the guests use to hear the host and said:
“I spit on this before I put it in,” she said to Romney, with a sweet smile.
Really classy; but would you expect anything less from the Party of Genocide? They are the enemy. If they could, they would murder our men, rape our women and sell our children into slavery. This enemy MUST be fought with no quarter.
