Depends on when this cat retired, and what rank he held at retirement.

Could be a retired E-5 and he got out in 1980.....or even 1975. Pay was for sh!t back then - half of squat is squat.

But ya, he could also be a O-6 that bailed last year and was scamming the system. I guess if the cat drove off in a $300K motor home, we got his number.

Also... alimony..
If divorced after retirement, federal law has 1/2 of his check going to ex-wife, and that is before the state divorce court tosses in alimony, child support, etc...
