I've a suspicion that this is some pricey stuff, as pet food goes. Which begs the question - what was a food bank doing with it?
Foodbanks in our area of CT have a LOT of pricey, all natural foods. A lot of people complain because they want Capt Crunch and all they have is Kashi...crazy isn’t it?
Somebody put it in a donation bag, and the volunteers at the food bank didn’t bother reading labels.
Frankly, some dogs and cats eat better than people do. As long as it wasn’t made in China, I doubt very much the food would hurt them.

Ya know, I always told my hubby that we would eat Mighty Dog (it’s pure beef) because the SS system is a bust and we lost out 401K in the last crash. Now, I’m thinking “Holistic Superfood” may be a good alternative.
