Same old same old from the new “adult supervision” of “business-as-usual” in “broken Washington”...trying to buy allies by generously doling out American taxpayers’ money as if they’re Santa Claus.

“part of a $7.5 billion aid effort to win over Pakistanis”
Looks like the cost of renting pakistani cooperation is going up - not feeling the love for obam

Is there info available as to how much the US has given to Pakistan in dollars and military and other equipment over the years??
It seems that before and after 9/11 we have spent an obscene amount on the Paks.

This pisses me off. Why give away money when our country needs it. I would stop all aid to all countries until we get rid of every penny of debt. This is really stupid!!! 500 million could be a day of interest payments for the United States.

Ya know, If I had millions at my disposal, you know - other people's money - I suppose I could stand on the street corner handing it out willy-nilly...and be the most popular guy on the block...for a while.
These liberals are like the little selfish, bratty, kids who have to give away their toys to get other kids to play with them.
Anyone with their hand out is going to be your best buddy so long as the cash keeps flowing their way...but the minute it stops, it will be "who are you again?".
Dems don't seem to understand that, or, they are playing the game of giving out (our) money while they are in office, getting voted out of office because of their wastefulness, and then telling those who were getting the freebies that "the Republicans took away your money".
.
They are currently trying to spend all the money so there will be none left when the GOP takes over again, forceing them to cut back on entitltments, therefore pissing off the "moocher" class.
And, we know that obama has ties to "Pahkeestahn", don't we, Mr. Soetoro?

Tie this “aid package” to Hillary Clinton’s statement last night that we are “very near” capturing Osama Bin Laden...I think it is merely a bribe. I doubt that any of this “aid” money makes it to the intended target, but into the pockets of the corrupt politicians. This would be the only way Obama or Clinton could win election in 2012, and I doubt even the capture or killing Bin Laden could help.
